ARTIST * ILLUSTRATOR * AUTHOR
After illustrating for others for some twenty years, I am overwhelmed with gratitude that my "authorial debut" has come! There will be drinks and snacks and music and joy at Established Gallery, on Saturday, January 24th, 2026. I will be signing books all day, and select prints from the book will also be available. Stay for all of the above, and at 5pm I will be in conversation with my dear friend and peer, James Yang, about the creation and story behind Fros, Fades, and Braids: A Brief History of Black Hair in America.
